Most likely :-) If you can't hit the login page I guess you are in trouble. 

Why do you need some wireless devices to go via a router and some not ? The 
router is most likely the hold up. 

I think (but don't quote me on it) you need to hit the grase box pretty 
directly without any interfering NAT or firewalls etc.
