Hello Charlie,

I noticed this issue as well on my setup. So I just setup a redirect. I went to /var/www/html/index.html and put the following in there:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<title>hope it works</title>
<meta http-equiv= "Refresh" content= "2; url=//10.1.0.1/grase/uam" />
</head>
<body>
 <p> Nope not this way </p>
 <p> Loading login screen </p>
</body>

</html>

It pauses for 2 seconds, showing "nope not this way" and "loading login screen" and then forwards the client to the correct login prompt... you can (as far as I know) put whatever you like here. Personally I just wanted my clients to be redirected to the login.

Hope this helps

Daniel Crusoe

Subject: [GRASE-Hotspot] Apache configuration

I notice that the LAN IP of the hotspot (mine comes up at 192.168.0.200) has a default instance of Apache running on it. Two questions:

1) Is this by design? Not that *I* want to, but can it be blocked?

2) I can browse to it from any admin machine on the LAN (my main admin workstation is at 192.168.0.4). What exactly would be the collection of configuration files for that instance of Apache? I'm sure they are not the same collection of configuration files running the hotspot interface...
