Hello,

It is IPSec VPN.
It uses port udp/500 and protocol 50&51 (ESP & AH).

What do you mean by IP range ?

I was logged when I tried to connect.
Is there any log where I can see something that could help diagnosis ?

Thank you.
Regards,

Alexandre

Hi Alexandre

There is nothing in particular blocking VPN's. What kind of VPN is it? What port does it use? What ip range does it assign you? You'll need to be logged in to the hotspot before the VPN can connect, but other than that, it should work unless it tries to use port 80 (as port 80 goes through squid).
Please let us know more about your VPN so we can help. You may also like to subscribe to the list.

Hello everyone,

Congratulations for this great piece of software ! It is so easy with GRASE !!!

I was just wondering how it would be possible to enable VPN. Currently it isn't possible to mount a VPN, something is blocking it, but I don't what.
Could you help me with that ? Is it iptables ? squid ? chilli ? Grase ?
What do I have to change in the configuration to make it work ?

Thank you for your help.
