Drazen, you've misunderstood. This certainly isn't NIC bonding. Have a look
at https://wiki.debian.org/BridgeNetworkConnections
NIC bonding can be used for HA and for improving network bandwidth. A
bridge can be thought of as a software switch, so you can connect the wired
NIC, the wireless NIC, and then Coova Chilli to the "switch" inside the
computer.
