Grace is an open source project which means Tim can only work when he has time (which obviously he doesn't with his family and normal job).
Yes, he needs to sleep a few hours per day..!
You can alternative donate, fund or even Patreon if you want more support.

With the fast evolving technologies such delayed updates are not good.

Request you to look into the development and add new features like MAC binding, multiple WAN support, etc...

The true reason is that there are no updates is that Tim is more focused on pushing out children.  Then he says, oh, I have no time holding out a plate for donations, and even if he had the donations we have absolutely no guarantee that we would EVER get an update because he is committed to making it work on the CRIPPLED os Ubuntu.  Ditch Ubuntu and make sure it works with debian. People who have been around the net for decades know that Ubuntu change and cripple things, then have the IDIOTS that use it spout their crap on the main debian lists/forums that something does not work, when it works perfectly on debian.

Bottom line, this project IS dead.  There will never be any timely updates, if indeed any update ever again.
