Hi Tim,

If I may suggest, how about putting an option somewhere in the web 
administration page?  Give the admin the choice to:

   1. Use the built-in successful log-in page.
   2. Redirect to a preferred website (e.g. redirect to a Facebook page or 
   the establishment's home page).
   3. Redirect to the original site the customer was supposed to go to 
   before logging in.

As for the status bookmark/link and quick logout reminder, the admin could 
put those in the "text below the login form" area.
