However, I need a little advice and possibly a work around‎. I am sunning Ubuntu server 12.04 edition and have been working fine with all nigerian networks (MTN, Airtel & Etisalat) least, these are the ones I have tried and all been working well, and had stock out for Etisalat, been one of the fastest connection until late last year say around October or so when they had some network challenges, even after they resolved it, etisalat network has not worked again on the server. I am using a Universal Huawei B970b router. When you use other sim, it tales less than a minute to finish booting and everything else works fine, clients able to connect etc, but with etisalat, it takes close to 5minutes to boot. When it gets to autostarting I think grase or chilli, not so sure now, it stays there for a while and then boots up to the login screen, but no connectivity and clients not able to browse, please assist. Regards, kute
Subject: Re: [GRASE-Hotspot] Raspberry Pi/Raspbian

Thanks so much for your help.
I think my configuration will be easier then yours. I will use the LAN port for the WAN connection (a existing privat network, which is connected through a router to my ISP). For one USB port I want to use a WLAN stick with external power over a USB hub. The raspberry shut be the router an the accesspoint at the same time. I know the quality of the connection will not be the best, but I want to use this configuration primary for a guest bed room, for which the configuration will be enough, I think.

Again many thanks,
The raspberry is now ordered :-)

Best
Dominik
