I think machine accounts are perfect for the job, now that machine accounts 
can belong to any group.
Admittedly, it is tiresome to setup hundreds of them, maybe even having to 
ask simple users to find out their MAC.

This is why I proposed automating the process in bugs

Of course, this i still to be implemented.
