I have rebooted the system twice, and the problem still persists, is there any other suggestions you could make?

This error is normally that Coova Chilli can't read from the network interface. A reboot is the easiest way to fix that. But if it's still happening after a reboot, that would be very odd.

these two seem to repeat over and over just filling up the syslog file... i have no clue what is causing it.
