<div>Hello,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>To install phpmyadmin in either Ubuntu or debian:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>sudo apt-get update</div>
<div>sudo apt-get upgrade </div>
<div>
<div> </div>
<div> </div>
<div>You do both of those commands, so that you make sure that the repositories are up to date (the first command) and that you have the most up to date packages from the security repository, and the second command makes sure that your local system is upgraded.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Then to install phpmyadmin:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin</div>
<div> </div>
<div>You will of course need to answer Y to the above commands.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The easiest step by step guide for setting up phpmyadmin is here:</div>
<div> </div>
<div>https://www.hostingadvice.com/how-to/install-phpmyadmin-on-ubuntu/</div>
<div> </div>
<div>You will then need to apply the provided command for each of the users that you wish to zero the usage data for.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Regards,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Christopher.</div>

<div>Hi Bob,
<div> </div>
<div>Thank you for the quick Reply.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>well like most of the user says i also have to say the same that I am totally new to the system specially php thing..:-)</div>
<div> </div>
<div>i went through couple of videos to use the phpmyadmin tool but still i do not have that confident to use and apply it..</div>
<div> </div>
<div>video i went through to install phymyadmin via cli in ubuntu 12.0.4 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXR8IdbPxfM" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXR8IdbPxfM</a></div>
<div> </div>
<div>So let say if i have to install the phpmyadmin tool like you have suggested and the video says then do i run and apply the command you suggested for those individual user that i want to reset the user to zero usage?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>
<div>root@ubuntu-T60:/# mysql -u root -p radius;</div>
<div>Enter password:</div>
<div>mysql> UPDATE radacct</div>
<div> -> SET AcctInputOctets=0 , AcctOutputOctets=0</div>
<div> -> WHERE UserName="$user";</div>
</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The reason i was a bit confused was phpmyadmin i found is to login by web and the command you have suggested is via cli.. So is it so that to use the command i need to install phpmyadmin ?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Please Note: I hope it will not create problem to my current users database as there are almost 200 users running through this server.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thanks.</div>

<div><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">Hi Srijan,</span></div>
<div> </div>
<div><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">I needed this too.</span></div>
<div> </div>
<div><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">You have to UPDATE the 'radacct' table in the 'radius' database, using phpMyAdmin or another method.</span></div>
<div> </div>
<div><span style="font-size: 13.0px;"> "UPDATE radacct </span><span style="font-size: 13.0px;"> SET AcctOutputOctets=0, AcctInputOctets=0 </span><span style="font-size: 13.0px;"> WHERE UserName=\"$username\""</span></div>
<div> </div>
<div><span style="font-size: 13.0px;">It breaks data usage tracking for the user but it worked for me.</span></div>
<div> </div>

<div>Dear All,
<div> </div>
<div>I am using <span style="color: rgb(10,87,169);font-family: "Lucida Grande" , Tahoma , Arial , Verdana , sans-serif;font-size: 16.0px;">GRASE (v3.8.0) for the HotSpot.</span>
<div> </div>
<div>I have created the server with 10 GB usage for a month to the users account.</div>
<div> </div>
<div> So let say there is a user who has used upto 20 GB where his quota was added by 10GB previously.</div>
<div> </div>
<div> Now when i delete his account i.e. mac address of the mobile phone and re-created it, the total usage of 20 GB still shows there.</div>
<div> </div>
<div> Meaning i want to know if there is any option to reset the account to usage to 0 bandwidth?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Thank You.</div>
