That shouldn't be overwritten often. But whenever Coova Chilli reloads 
it will flush the tables and start again. It shouldn't be at each 
login/logout, but only when network settings change. However, making 
manual changes to the iptables isn't recommended as those changes will 
get lost at some point.

What changes are you wanting to make?
