Hi Drazen,

Router is connected at WAN side, all remote sites connect to Grase trough 
the WAN interface:

  Remote hotspot users <=> DD-WRT <=> Internet <=> Router <=> (WAN) GRASE 
(LAN) <=>Local hotspot users
 
Yes, OpenWRT or other firmware with Coova Chilli built-in should work fine.
