Reinstalled, working again fine. Before doing so I did a number of checks 
and I think there was an intermittent issue with DHCP issuing address's. 
The electrical storm I talked about in the first post, I have since found 
out appears to have damaged lots of equipment in the area, knocking out 
security cameras and other wifi equipment that either has to be reinstalled 
or replaced.
