Many sysadmins who install and configure setups such as Grase is used to configure a few default setups before adding systems such as Grase, like configuring a working local network.

My friend installed Grase on a dedicated test server today, and at no point did it occur to him that he is Not supposed to configure the local network interface, untill I pointed this out to him on the phone.
He is the kind of admin that is used to configuring systems on autopilot, so to speak. and the first thing is to cconfigure the network.

And I think a lot of sysadmins are like that. They have a routine that they always follow when configuring new systems or new services.
Which is why an instruction on what NOT to configure to get it working, and why, is important.
