Hello, I am trying to turn a 8 year old computer into a hotspot server and
it is giving me trouble. On the Lubuntu 14.1 OS, I`ve installed Grace
Hotspot nightly build, added the 'iface eth1 inet manual' line to the
interfaces file and confirmed that the server is having access to the
Internet (I am using it to write this.) Using an ethernet cable, I've
linked that server with a laptop for testing purposes, disabled the
wireless connection to the Internet on the laptop and connected solely to
the server. It returned an IP address of 10.1.0.3. When I try to browse
using the laptop in either IE or Mozilla it gives me the 'address not
found' error. When I type in 10.1.0.1, it gives me the Apache2 Ubuntu
Default Page instead of the Grase Login page.

Using a mobile phone, it receives an 10.1.0.2 IP, gets to the login page
and logs in successfully, but it is not capable of surfing the Internet.
Looking at the usage I see that no outgoing or ingoing traffic has occurred
over the hotspot.

I am unsure of how to proceed from here and I am not a Linux or a network
expert by any means.

Please advise and thanks.
