If it's not giving you internet access, then that's also why the
redirection is broken. It sounds like the Hotspot itself doesn't have
internet access.

What debugging steps have you taken? Have you confirmed that the hotspot
machine can access the internet? Make sure in the admin interface you set
the WAN and LAN interfaces, hit save, and reboot the hotspot.
