Hi Stephan

Until I have a true 4.0 build, the version number is an automated part of
the build, so it's from the last git tag with the number of commits (3.8.0
+ 377 in your picture). This ensures I can easily build packages during
development without having the same version number each time. At some point
I'll tage 4.0.0-alpha1 or something and then the version number will be
more to your expectation.
