Well I am just about to reload my server (not being very good at linux I just find it easier to just start from the beginning again) if I continue having this issue after the reload then I am going to have start researching (and learning) how to trace an https route from the moment the client hits send… sigh 

 

Heres hoping it gets fixed with the reload and is not something worse.

I see. That's how it goes on your side. I was wondering if it's issue with the uam login. Hmm, that's kinda strange. The login you mentioned is like we going to https://www.facebook.com ?
I don't really have that kind of issue in my side except for keeping an active session with fixed external ip since i'm using multiple gateway on my internet core.

Do share your experience if you manage to find solution for that sir. :)

If looking on your issue, it's possible that the user haven't been authenticated yet. On mobile with latest OS such ase android 5+, usually the moment you enter grase network, login page will popup. Although, if it doesn't appear directly, either in smartphone or PC, just open web browser and go for non secure site first. With that, grase uam is triggered and will ask user to enter login information.

(so far it only seems to be facebook that is having an issue).

any help would be appreciated 

(i have not worked in a linux server environment for almost 12 years so i am treating it almost like a windows server)
