That's odd. I just checked the file that is in the repository.
$ dpkg -I apt/pool/main/c/coova-chilli/coova-chilli_1.2.9-grase3_i386.deb
  new debian package, version 2.0.
<snip>
  Package: coova-chilli
  Version: 1.2.9-grase3
  Architecture: i386
  Depends: libc6 (>= 2.4), libssl0.9.8 (>= 0.9.8m-1), grase-conf-squid3,
grase-conf-dnsmasq

However, the amd64 version is libssl1.0.0!!! Seems I need to setup a new
build environment soon!

What I will do when I can, is setup a clean build environment for
Debian6 and Ubuntu 12.04, for i386 and amd64, and make sure my builds
are done in there.

Until then, please use the bzr repository, and build the package on your
own machine (or use i386)

My test machine was i386, so that explains why it worked there but not
on the amd64 machines!

Sorry for the problems. (See http://grasehotspot.org/development/ for
bzr details)

Tim
