Hmm,... good to hear that you got it work.
I am not sure why DHCP should be enabled.

I wish I could send you my answer before because I've set up two links
with ubiquity equipment and AirOs.
One link is extension of my main company LAN and that may not be a 100%
good example , although it is the same.
Anyway, there is NanoStation M2 as AP, network bridged, no WDS active,
DHCP static.
Another M2 is in Station mode, bridged, static, atached by cable to PC
network port.
And another client to same AP is Pico as Station mode, network bridged,
static. WDs can't find because that is some older type of firmware and
HW. This is one is cable atached to CNC machine, which is networked this
way. This air link is WPA2 protected. But not grase network so not fully
the same.

Other link I have is at home on Grase network. It is made by parabolic
antennas on 5Ghz and AirBridge 5 HP. One is set as AP, network is
bridged, and static DHCP.
At the far side is same unit in Station mode, bridged network, static
DHCP. Some TP link router is atached at by cable acting as local AP at
2.4Mhz at that remote location. Can't say more details at the moment
because need to come home to read all 3 devices setting. But this link
working excellent.
Maybe we should compare settings later.
